The small podcasts here are mostly silence, but the timing is constructed so you can put the bells and silence together in any order you like to build whatever meditation sessions you want. Here you will find
Preparation Time:
- 30 seconds silence
- 30 seconds silence then two gong chimes
Gong Chimes:
- one gong chime
- two gong chimes (with very slightly decreasing volume)
- three gong chimes (with increasing volume)
Sitting Time:
- 5 mins silence
- 10 mins silence
- 15 mins silence
To use them subscribe to or manually download the episodes then construct a playlist for each different session you want. For example if you want a 20 minute session with 30 seconds prep and a timing gong at 15 mins then your playlist might consist of
- 30 seconds silence with gong chimes
- 15 mins silence
- one gong chime
- 5 mins silence
- three gong chimes
Of course you can have multiple playlists for different sessions. Make sure you have "shuffle" off or else the order won't be right.
As a playlist can play an item more than once, if you want to be
really minimal you could build any reasonable sessions from just
- 30 seconds silence
- one gong
- 5 mins silence
I built these podcasts myself using Garage Band because I couldn't find an ipod touch application that provided what I wanted for this and am providing them for free. I'm not collecting stats so if you find these files useful please leave a review on itunes or a comment on the blog page and say so.
